Jeffrey Lokken joined FIM Group in 2001 as a private client wealth manager. His responsibilities include preparing and monitoring client personal financial plans and assisting other FIM Group financial advisers with designing and implementing financial planning strategies. Jeff specializes in providing financial planning services for physicians, surviving spouses and retirees. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 1977, and his Master of Science degree from Winona State University in Minnesota in 1981. He then worked as an independent financial manager until 1989 when he established the fee-only wealth management firm, Lokken Financial, Inc. In 1993 he merged with Chesnut & Cape to form Lokken, Chesnut & Cape, Inc. and served as CEO of the firm until July of 2001. Among his professional accomplishments, Jeff has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP® Board) to use the certification marks CFP® in accordance with CFP® Board certification and renewal requirements. These marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous education, examination, experience and ethical requirements of the CFP® Board. Jeff has also earned the Chartered Financial Consultant professional designation sponsored by the American College and has completed a Master of Science degree in Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. Jeff's professional association memberships include the Financial Planning Association and NAPFA, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, which is the largest professional association of comprehensive, fee-only financial planners in the United States. Jason Sobolik joined FIM Group in 2007 as a financial planning specialist. He spent 12 years at Business Objects (a SAP company) as a Global Technical Account Manager and Sales Engineer working internationally to expand its solutions throughout their global network of consulting firms and software providers. Jason is currently assisting with financial, tax and retirement planning services for FIM Group clients in Wisconsin. Jason holds bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Information System from Wartburg College. Bonnie DeKrey joined FIM Group in 2001. She facilitates the office flow by maintaining day-to-day operations and is part of the FIM Group Client Services team, providing support for client communication and service. Prior to joining FIM Group, Bonnie was employed in bookkeeping and various office capacities, as well as running a small business with her husband, Ron. Bonnie enjoys a wide variety of creative hobbies in her spare time. She and her husband reside in Holmen, Wisconsin, and are the proud parents of two adult children, Joel and Katie. Patti Lokken joined FIM Group in 2001 as office manager. Patti's experience includes 14 years as a corporate legal secretary and working over 20 years in the financial services industry in various positions including compliance, accounting and as an executive assistant. Patti is a lifetime resident of the La Crosse Coulee Region, who has two adult children and is married to Jeff Lokken, the Wisconsin Branch Manager. Patti has a deep appreciation for service members that have led her to a commitment for community service, which includes being a director on two non- profit boards, the Wisconsin Chapter of Operation Homefront and the La Crosse Coulee Region Freedom Honor Flights. |
